Bill Gates famously took solo Think Weeks in a remote cabin twice a year, while he was running Microsoft. He would use these Think Weeks to disconnect, read, and foster creativity.
Even if we can’t manage to disappear to a remote cabin for a whole week, we can still do our own versions of a period of resetting and reflection. You could take even just a day off at meaningful points like the end of the quarter or the end of the year, and take that time to review and plan.
