I sat down this evening to publish a post. 7 minutes in, these are my first words. I have been trying to think of something to write about. And struggling.

It seems like the first words are the hardest. And things tend to flow more easily from there. Julia Cameron proposed the popular idea of Morning Pages: three pages of longhand free writing to start every day. “Morning Pages provoke, clarify, comfort, cajole, prioritize and synchronize the day at hand.” It’s a great idea, even if it’s probably more than most people would really do.
